My nearly 20-year marketing career, including a decade in leadership roles, is marked by my expertise in brand strategy, marketing and engagement, content development and production, business development, and impactful partnerships.

Prior to launching D. DeSanto Consulting, Dana served as the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Business Development for 1895 Films, where she launched a branded content business for this Emmy and Peabody Award-winning production company.

Working with clients like Cisco, American Airlines, and the Parks Channel, she created a new revenue stream by amplifying the 1895 Films brand across new and unexpected markets in the U.S. and internationally.

Earlier, as the Vice President of Marketing & Network Partnerships for the Smithsonian Channel, Dana designed and executed marketing strategies and campaigns that were pivotal in launching new platforms and protecting multimillion-dollar annual revenue.

Dana also ushered the Smithsonian Channel brand into a new phase of corporate social responsibility while delivering a 9x marketing budget ROI. She architected and executed annual documentary screening tours for 6 consecutive years, attracting and booking cultural luminaries and talent for multicity tours.

Dana’s experience also includes partner marketing for Showtime Networks as well as consumer and distributor marketing for NBC Sports Group, Fox Entertainment Group, MTV Networks, and ESPN.
